You're very welcome my friend. I know how much you love the "dark" pieces and your photographic style makes it easy for me to tell a dark story. Thank you again Geert for allowing me to use your non stock photographs for my manipulations. I am truely happy we have this collaboration. Hugsssssss to you and thanks again.

That's beautiful..and a bit spooky too :) Maybe the sky highlights should have less brightness, but still it's really good!

I was trying something out with the highlights and yes I agree they are a bit too bold. Thanks for the comment.

Make that two ears for not realizing that she is a shewolf.

You know I enjoy your work, so thinking out loud could the wolf be reversed and his immage made more in the forefront (bigger) and framed by the tower in the darkness there. Or maybe you're thinking my ear in his teeth for commenting. lol.

Lol at chewing your ears. Im not totally happy with this one. For some reason I seem to have lost my touch this week and I dont know if I should try to fix it or just chalk it up to one of those learning curve manips and leave it as a reminder. Leave well enough alone and move on.

Yes it did turn out like that didnt it. The original was very dark and I wanted to highlight the architecture of the building more and bring it from the shadows which resulted in this watercolour effect.

Thanks Derek. As I responded to the other comments.....not one of my better works. Quite disappointed actually but will chalk it up to experience and move on I think.

I quite liked it, you did the sky well and the darkness really give it an eerie atmosphere. To me the main weakness was that the wolf wanted tobe the main focus but was too small and stuck in the corner, still probably not a lot you could have done and it's nice to see the odd picture without a girl in a black dress! :)

lol.....you said it. I wanted to do something different. I have tried all week to get something happening ...I look at all my stocks, I have surfed new stocks and nothing has jumped out at me and its frustrating the crap out of me. I need to do something but I dont want cliche' ........grrrrrrrrs n sighs.........
Am just about to go look at your new one. It jumped out at me in thumb but wanted to respond to my messages first...pokes you in the ribs....send me some inspiration will you.......pleeeeeeeeeeeaze

Must admit, I'm suffering the same frustrations at the moment. I want to avoid the major cliches if possible but all my ideas are crap or I can't find stock. All very frustrating!

hear hear.........I have resorted to sneaking peeks at links of stockers on manips that I havent come across before now....still cant find something that jumps out at me though. Maybe Im being too picky. In the beginning I was happy to do cliche manips....but then you see them ad-nauseum and it gets very boring to be honest. Sorry if that offends anyone but 20 variations of one theme is a but ho-hum lol. "Inspiration, inspiration, my Kingdom for some inspiration!!!!!!!" lol

Totally agree, I want variation, I can't understand how some people can keep producing the same picture over and over. The most popular here though is the most cleched, that is girl in black dress overlooking ocean or by gravestone with crow. Do this picture and you'll get more favs than anything else. My most popular picture is Arianna which I think is the only picture I have of girl in black dress by water! Anyway no ideas have arrived and it's time for bed! Maybe insperation will come during the night! Good luck to you!
