~…Hidden deep in the mountains the temple is known only to a select few whose wisdom is as old as time itself. Their wisdom has been passed on through the ages and only once every fifty years is a new Elder chosen. Built by the Ancients the temple is watched over by the Sun Lion Gods perched high on the Towers of Rah. On the Winter Solstice of every year the Elders travel on their pilgrimage to gather at the temple to pay homage to their ancestors and the gods of the Solstice.
As the first of the Elders enters the sacred valley he is welcomed by the Gods themselves....here at the Temple of the Solstice…~
Since tonight (Sunday 21st June) is our Winter Solstice and shortest day of the year, I thought it would be nice to dedicate this piece to the Winter Solstice.
Good shopping.
